Les Girondins play their matches at the Matmut Atlantique, an attractive stadium holding 42,000 fans. The ground was one of the host venues for the Euro 2016 tournament in France.

This home shirt was worn in the 2022/2023 season with Bordeaux competing in Ligue 2, the club having to rise through the French pyramid after multiple demotions due to financial problems.

Bordeaux finished the season in 3rd place, just missing out on the two promotion places that were taken by Le Havre and Metz.

Striker, Josh Maja (now at West Brom), top scored for the club with 17 goals.

Bordeaux are now competing in Championnat National 2, the fourth tier of football in France after being imposed with a double relegation in 2024 after financial problems.
