Burnley FC from Lancashire in Northern England is a professional team, playing in the English Premier League. They were one of the 12 founder members of the Football
League in 1888/89, having been formed in May 1882.

The team, known as The Clarets, have been champions of England twice, 1920/21 and 1959/60.
