CERCLE BRUGGE  - HOME SHIRT 2020/2021

Cercle Brugge Koninklijke Sportvereniging is a Belgian Professional club based in Bruges.  The club was founded in 1899 and play at The Jan Breydel Stadium, capacity 29,062, which is shared with fierce rivals Club Brugge.  Cercle’s nickname is Groen en Zwart ‘The Green and Blacks’, which are the club’s colours.  

The club currently plays in the Belgian first division and won its first national title as early as 1910/11.

For most of its life the club has fluctuated between the First and Second Divisions.  In the 21st century Cercle have spent most of their time in the First Division.  They were promoted in 2003 and remained there until 2015 when they were relegated after losing a play-off with SK Lierse, finishing bottom of the league.  

Cercle wore this striking home season in the 2020/2021 season when they finished 16th in the Belgian Pro League in the regular season, just escaping relegation by one place.
