Cruz Azul is a professional football club based in Mexico City.

The club compete in Mexico’s top league, Liga MX. They play matches at the famous Azteca stadium, albeit it is currently being renovated in time for the FIFA 2026 World Cup.

Cruz Azul have been Mexican champions nine times and have won the CONCACAF Champions Cup seven times (more than any other team).

Los Celestes (The Sky Blues) wore this away shirt in the 2024/2025 Liga MX season, where the club finished the Torneo Apertura in 1st place. However, they lost in the playoff semi-final to Club America. In the Torneo Clausura (closing section of the season) they finished in 3rd place but again lost to their season’s nemesis, Club America, in the semi-finals.

In the CONCACAF Champions Cup, Cruz Azul took the title after beating Vancouver Whitecaps 5-0 in the final.
