Empoli is an Italian club based in Tuscany. They are one of a select group of Italian clubs that do not belong to a provincial capital city that have participated in the top-flight.

Gli Azzurri (The Blues) play their matches at the Stadio Carlo Castellani which holds 16,250 spectators.

Empoli wore this white away shirt in what was a superb season for the club with them winning Serie B, meaning that they were promoted to Italy’s top flight Serie A for the following season.
