England 2006 Goalkeeper Shirt

ENGLAND  –  WORLD CUP GOALKEEPER SHIRT 2006

Paul Robinson (England’s keeper) wore this shirt during the 2006
World Cup in Germany under the management of Sven Goran Eriksson.

England finished top of their group after win’s against Paraguay, Trinidad and Tobago and a match 3 draw against Sweden (which included a brilliant goal by Joe Cole).

The Three Lions then defeated Ecuador in the Round of 16 with a goal from David Beckham.

However their tournament ended in defeat to Portugal in the Quarter-Final. England held on after Rooney’s red card (remember that wink from CR7!) but sadly lost on penatlies.
