FROSINONE CALCIO – AWAY SHIRT 2019/2020

Frosinone Calcio is a professional Italian club based in the city of Frosinone in the Lazio region, south of the capital Rome.

I Canarini (The Canaries) have spent most of their history in Serie C but have had a couple of spells in Serie A, most notably in the 2023/2024 season.

The club play home matches at the all seater Stadio Benito Stirpe which is named after the chairman of the club in the 1960’s. The club is still owned by the Stirpe family.

Frosinone wore this away shirt in the 2019/2020 season when the club found themselves back in Serie B, under the management of Alessandro Nesta, after relegation the previous season. They finished 8th in the regular season, just sneaking into the playoffs on goal difference ahead of Pisa. Frosinone made it all the way to the final, where they drew over two legs against Spezia. Sadly however the rules dictated that, in the event of a draw, the team that finished higher in the league gained promotion and so Frosinone were destined to remain in Serie B.
