GALATASARAY – AWAY SHIRT 2002/2003

Galatasaray is a Turkish club from the eastern side of the capital Istanbul. They are one of Turkey’s most decorated clubs with 25 Süper Lig titles and 19 Turkish Cups to their name. They are also the only side from Turkey to win a European competition, winning the 2000 UEFA Cup.

Aslanar (The Lions) wore this away shirt in the 2002/2003 season when finishing 2nd in the Süper Lig behind Beşiktaş, under the management of Fatih Terim.

The club played this season at the old Ali Sami Yen Stadium but they have since moved to Rams Park. In the Champions League, Galatasaray finished bottom of Group H behind Barcelona, Lokomotiv Moscow and Club Brugge.
