Japan 2014 Away Shirt

JAPAN - AWAY SHIRT WORLD CUP 2014

The Japanese National Football Team began in 1917 & have four major international trophies to their name; the 1992, 2000, 2004 & 2011 AFC Asian Cups. 

At the time of writing, Japan is the highest ranked Asian team in the FIFA rankings
(15th as at December 2024).

The nation’s record cap holder is midfielder Yasuhito Endō, with 152 caps between 2002 & 2015.

This ‘bright’ away shirt was worn by the Japanese at the 2014 World Cup held in Brazil. Unfortunately, Japan failed to get to the knockout rounds after finishing bottom of Group C behind Colombia, Greece and the Ivory Coast.
