LONG BEACH FC - HOME SHIRT 2025
Founded in 2023 as Shoreline United Football Club, the team’s original name paid homage to both its coastal roots and community values. In January 2025, the club took a bold step to “identify more closely with the city it represents,” rebranding as Long Beach FC. Long Beach, California—a city celebrated for its vibrant culture, fine dining, and family-friendly atmosphere—provides the perfect backdrop for this growing club.
The home shirt embodies the spirit of Long Beach. Its celestial blue base symbolizes the city’s clear coastal skies, while accents of Sunglow yellow reflect the club’s optimistic outlook. The four palm trees on the badge stand for Growth, The Beautiful Game, Excellence, and Community. The design as a whole captures the essence of the city’s iconic shoreline.
Currently competing in the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL), part of the USA’s fourth-tier soccer structure, Long Beach FC recently announced a strategic pause. The club will forgo the Fall 2025 UPSL season to focus on strengthening its foundations—building community partnerships, developing local sponsorships, and laying the groundwork for the Long Beach FC Academy.
These initiatives are key steps toward the club’s ambition of joining USL League Two. If the application process goes as planned, Long Beach FC will make its return to competitive play in the summer of 2026.
