Lugano 2016/2018 Third Shirt

LUGANO – THIRD SHIRT 2016/2018

Lugano is a Swiss town in the south of the country, in an Italian speaking canton. The town borders the attractive Lake Lugano.

The club were reformed in 2004 after relegation and financial troubles. They play at Stadio Cornaredo.

This third shirt was worn when Lugano finished 3rd and 8th in the Swiss Super League in respective seasons, and were knocked out of the quarter-finals of the 2017/18 Swiss Cup,
losing 3-1 on penalties against Grasshoppers. The shirt was also worn when Lugano were knocked out of the group stage of the 17/18 Europa League, finishing 3rd in their group behind Viktoria Plzen and Steaua Bucharest.
