Mainz is a German football club, founded in 1905 and based in Mainz, Rhineland-Palatinate. 

They play their home matches at the Mewa Arena, which holds 34,000 fans.

Mainz wore this home shirt in the 2022/2023 season, the club’s 14th consecutive season in the Bundesliga. It was a solidseason under the management of Bo Svensson with Mainz finishing 9th.

In the DFB-Pokal, Mainz were knocked out in the Round of 16, losing to Bayern Munich 4-0 at home.
