OLYMPIQUE DE MARSEILLE – THIRD SHIRT 2011/2012

Marseille is one of France’s heavyweight clubs based in the south of the country. They have spent most of their history in Ligue 1, with 11 French titles, ten Coupe de France wins and three Coupes de la Ligue. They were also the inaugural winners of the Champions League in 1993 (beating Milan 1-0).

They play their matches at the atmospheric Stade Velodrome.

The club wore this third shirt in the 2011/2012 season under the management of current French national team manager, Didier Deschamps.

Marseille struggled domestically (finishing 10th) but did reach the Champions League Quarter-Final, beating Inter Milan in the Round of 16, before losing heavily to Bayern Munich in the last 8.
