MC ALGER - THIRD SHIRT 2024/2025
Mouloudia Club d'Alger, commonly known as MC Alger, is a professional football club based in Algiers, Algeria. Founded in 1921, the club proudly wears the colours red, green, and white. Their home ground, the Ali La Pointe Stadium, holds around 40,000 spectators, and the team currently competes in the Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 1.
MC Alger holds a distinguished place in Algerian football history. They were the first Algerian club to win a continental competition, lifting the 1976 African Cup of Champions Clubs. Domestically, they are among the country’s most successful sides, boasting nine league titles and eight domestic cup victories.
During the 2024/25 season, MC Alger donned this multi-coloured third shirt in what proved to be a memorable campaign. They retained their league title, winning the championship for the second consecutive year and suffering defeat in only two of their 30 matches.
On the continental stage, they reached the quarter-finals before being narrowly eliminated by South African side Orlando Pirates, losing 1–0 on aggregate.
Their domestic cup run, however, was less impressive for the reigning champions, ending in the Round of 32 after a loss to eventual cup runners-up CR Belouizdad.
