MONTSERRAT – HOME SHIRT 2020/2021

Montserrat is a British Overseas territory in the Caribbean, and is part of the Leeward Islands.

It is named the Emerald Isle of the Caribbean, both for it’s resemblance to coastal Ireland and for the Irish ancestry of many of its inhabitants.

The Emerald Boys are members of CONCACAF and are currently ranked 179 in the FIFA World Rankings. They have Lyle Taylor (former Nottingham Forest striker) playing for the
national side at present.

Montserrat wore this unusual home shirt in the First Round qualification for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Unfortunately they narrowly missed out on promotion to the second round, finishing two points behind El Salvador.
