country. They play at the McDonald and Jones Stadium. 

The team’s nickname is the Jets, which is derived from the Royal Australian Airforce base at Williamstown, 20km from Newcastle. 

The club’s badge features 3 F/A-18 Hornets, based at Williamstown.

This was an underwhelming season for the Jets who finished 8th in the A-League.
