Newcastle United Football Club is an English professional football club based in the northern city of Newcastle. The Magpies play at the 52,305 capacity St. James’ Park and compete in the Premier League, the highest division of football in England. The Magpies maintain a fierce rivalry with local side Sunderland, who have been the inferior team in the derby for many years. Newcastle have won the FA Cup 6 times.

This home shirt was worn by Newcastle when finishing 11th in the Premier League.
However the season will be remembered for the high profile takeover of the club by a Saudi Arabian investment group (PCP Capital Partners). In theory, Newcastle now have the resources to compete at the highest level and so there could be exciting times ahead for The Toon!
