The Norwegian national football team represent the country in international competitions.

Løvene (The Lions) are currently ranked 43rd in the FIFA World rankings. Remarkably, Norway have been ranked the 2nd best team in the world twice – in Oct 1993 and August 1995.

There is confidence in the national side at the moment due to a crop of high quality players including Erling Haaland and Martin Ødegaard.

Norway wore this home shirt during the qualifiers for the Germany World Cup in 2006.
The Norwegians finished 2nd in Group 5 behind Italy but sadly lost their playoff match against the Czech Republic to miss out on reaching the finals.
