NÜRNBERG – HOME SHIRT 2013/2014

1. FC Nürnberg is a historic German football club based in Nuremberg, Bavaria. Founded in 1900, the club first competed in the Southern German Championship, winning their inaugural title in 1916. They claimed their first national championship in 1920 and went on to secure 11 regional titles before the Bundesliga’s formation in 1963 - including the Oberliga Süd, established in 1945. Over their history, Nürnberg have won the German championship nine times, the Bundesliga once, and the DFB-Pokal four times.

The club plays its home matches at the Max-Morlock-Stadion, a 50,000-capacity arena. They currently compete in the 2. Bundesliga and are coached by German legend Miroslav Klose.

This classic home shirt was worn during the 2013/2014 Bundesliga campaign. Unfortunately, it was a season to forget for Nürnberg, who were relegated after accumulating just 26 points. Despite the team’s struggles, Josip Drmić delivered an outstanding individual campaign, scoring 17 of Nürnberg’s 37 league goals.
