AC Perugia Calcio wore this distinctive third shirt in the 2023/2024 season when the club competed in Serie C, the third tier of Italian football, following their relegation from Serie B in the previous season. The team finished 3rd in the league, securing a spot in the promotion playoffs. However, their playoff run was cut short in the third round by Carrarese, with an aggregate score of 2–3. In the Coppa Italia Serie C, Perugia reached the second round before being eliminated.
