The state of Pohnpei is a group of small islands in the Pacific Ocean; one of four states which make up the country of Federated States of Micronesia. The island’s population is around 36,000.

This home shirt was worn by Pohnpei at the 2023 Micro Cup, a Futsal tournament organised by the newly formed Federated States of Micronesia Football Federation.

The nation of Micronesia was famously managed by Englishman Paul Watson from 2009-10, an incredible story which is the subject of Watson’s book, Up Pohnpei.

This stunning shirt was designed by STINGZ, a brand creating bespoke sportswear for, and championing football in, smaller, unrecognised footballing bodies.
