PORT VALE – HOME SHIRT 2020/2021

Port Vale is an English professional club located in the suburb of Burslem, Stoke on Trent.

The Valiants are one of the only English clubs not to be named after a geographical location, the club name being a reference to the valley of ports on the Trent & Mersey Canal.

Port Vale have never played in England’s top-flight and have spent most of their time in the lower leagues of English professional football. They play their matches at Vale Park.

The team’s rivals are Stoke City with whom they compete the Potteries Derby (Stoke being famous for its pottery production).

This home shirt, designed by Robbie Williams, was worn in the 2020/21 season when Vale finished the season in 13th place in League Two. The club suffered a shock first round defeat in the FA Cup to non-league Kings Lynn Town.
