PORT VALE – AWAY SHIRT 2022/2023

Port Vale Football Club are an English professional side based in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, and are one of the few clubs in England not named after a specific town or city. Instead, the club takes its name from the “valley of ports” along the Trent & Mersey Canal, a nod to the area’s industrial heritage.

Known as the Valiants, Port Vale have spent the majority of their history in the lower divisions of English football and have never competed in the top flight. They play their home matches at Vale Park and contest the fiercely fought Potteries Derby against local rivals Stoke City.

The 2022/2023 away shirt was worn during Port Vale’s return to League One. Under manager Darrell Clarke, the club finished 18th in the table and were knocked out in the first round of the FA Cup during the campaign.
