Real Betis are a historic Spanish club based in the vibrant and football-obsessed city of Seville. Known for their passionate fanbase and colourful identity, the club has long been one of Spain’s most beloved sides.

While Betis currently compete in La Liga, their history has included several swings between the top flight and the Segunda División. This unpredictable journey has helped shape the club’s spirit and is perfectly captured in the famous fan motto: “¡Viva el Betis manqué (aunque) pierda!”, meaning “Long live Betis, even when they lose!” A phrase that reflects the unwavering loyalty of Betis supporters.

Under the guidance of former Real Madrid and Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini, Los Verdiblancos wore this vibrant third shirt during the 2022/2023 season. It was a campaign marked by consistency and attacking football, culminating in a commendable 6th-place finish and another qualification for European competition.

Up front, Borja Iglesias led the line. He finished as the club’s top scorer in the league, netting 15 goals in 29 starts - an excellent return that proved crucial to Betis’ season.
