Fudbalski klub Crvena zvezda, commonly referred to as commonly referred to as Crvena zvezda and colloquially referred to as Red Star Belgrade in anglophone media, is a Serbian professional football club based in Belgrade, and a major part of the Red Star multi-sport society.

They are the most successful club from the Balkans and Southeast Europe, being the only club to have won both the European Cup and Intercontinental Cup, having done so in 1991, and only the second team from Eastern Europe to win the European Cup.

According to 2008 polls, Red Star Belgrade is the most popular football club in Serbia, with 48% of the population supporting them. Their main rivals are fellow Belgrade side Partizan. The championship matches between these two clubs are known as the Eternal derby.

The 2019–20 Red Star Belgrade season was the club's 14th in the Serbian SuperLiga and 74th consecutive season in the top flight of Yugoslav and Serbian football. The club participated in the Serbian SuperLiga, the Serbian Cup and the UEFA Champions League. They won the league losing just 2 games and reached the semi-final of the Serbian Cup before facing rivals Partizan and losing 1-0. Also, they were knocked out of the Champions League in the Group Stage after only winning 3 points.
