The oldest football derby in the world is between Sheffield FC and Hallam FC, and it was first played on December 26, 1860. This match, known as the "Rules Derby" or "Sheffield Derby," took place under the "Sheffield Rules," which were the precursors to the modern game's rulebook.

Nicknamed, The Club, Sheffield play matches at the Home of Football Ground.
