SIMBA SPORTS CLUB – THIRD SHIRT 2022/2023

Simba Sports Club is a professional football club based in Dar es Salaam, the bustling capital of Tanzania.

Known as the Reds of Msimbazi, Simba compete in the Tanzanian Premier League and play their home matches at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium, the largest stadium in the country, which also hosts the national team.

Widely regarded as one of Africa’s top ten clubs, Simba have an illustrious history with 22 national league titles to their name, making them a dominant force in Tanzanian football.

In the 2022/2023 season, Simba wore this unique third shirt, a design that stands apart from their traditional home and away kits, combining bold colours and striking patterns to create a distinctive look on the pitch. The shirt was part of their 2022/2023 campaign, in which Simba finished 2nd in the league, just 5 points behind their fierce rivals, Young Africans.

The club also runs an affiliated women’s team, the Simba Queens, who compete in the Tanzanian Women’s Premier League. The Queens also wore this third shirt during their 2022/2023 season, finishing 2nd in the league behind JKT Queens.
