SOUTHAMPTON  – HOME SHIRT 2022/2023

Southampton is a professional club based in the city of the same name on the South Coast of England.

One of the founding members of the Premier League, The Saints, have spent their majority of their history in the top flight with promotion first gained in 1966.

The club play their home matches at St. Mary’s Stadium, where they relocated in 2001 when their old ground The Dell was demolished.

The club wore this home shirt in what proved to be a traumatic season which ultimately ended in relegation from the Premier League after eleven consecutive seasons.

The Saints sacked Ralph Hasenhuttl in December, replacing him with Nathan Jones under whom the club slumped further leading to his dismissal in February with Ruben Selles taking over. Southampton did make the Semi-Finals of the EFL Cup before losing over two legs to Newcastle
