SWITZERLAND  – HOME SHIRT 2010/2011

This striking home shirt was created for Switzerland’s appearance at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

The Rossocrociati (Red Crosses) were drawn into Group H alongside Spain, Chile and Honduras. The team went into the tournament ranked 24th in the world.

Switzerland shocked the footballing world by beating favourites Spain 1-0 in their first match. However they then lost their second game into Chile, meaning that they needed to beat Honduras in the final game to qualify for the knockouts. Unfortunately the Swiss disappointingly drew the game 0-0 and therefore failed to make the latter stages of the tournament.
