UD ALMERIA – AWAY SHIRT 2024/2025

Unión Deportiva Almería, commonly known as Almería, is a Spanish professional football club based in Almería, in the autonomous community of Andalusia. The club was founded on 26 July 1989 and was originally named Almería Club de Fútbol until 2001, when it adopted its current name. The team is also nicknamed “Los Indálicos”, a reference to the Indalo, a figure of a man holding an arch over his head, considered a symbol of protection and good luck.

Almería currently competes in the Segunda División and plays its home matches at the UD Almería Stadium, which has a capacity of 17,400.

The club wore this distinctive away shirt during the 2024/2025 season, which proved to be a solid campaign. Expectations were high following relegation from La Liga the previous season. Almería finished 6th in the league, qualifying for the play-offs, but were eliminated by eventual winners Real Oviedo. Notably, Arsenal legend Santi Cazorla, who had returned to his boyhood club Oviedo, scored the decisive goal that knocked Almería out.

In the Copa del Rey, Almería reached the Round of 16 before being narrowly defeated 3–2 by then-La Liga side Leganés, conceding a late winner to the visitors.
