1. FC UNION BERLIN – AWAY SHIRT 2024/2025
Based in the German capital of Berlin, 1. FC Union Berlin - affectionately known as Die Eisernen (“The Iron Ones”) - play their home matches at the iconic Stadion An der Alten Försterei. The club has enjoyed a remarkable rise in recent years, establishing itself in the Bundesliga after earning promotion in 2019.
This striking away shirt was worn during the 2024/2025 season, as Union Berlin looked to stabilise their position in Germany’s top flight following a challenging previous campaign. Under the guidance of Nenad Bjelica, the team showed resilience throughout the season and secured a mid-table finish.
In European competition, Union competed in the UEFA Europa Conference League, reaching the knockout stages before being eliminated in a tightly contested tie.
Forward Kevin Volland played a key role in attack, finishing as the club’s top scorer across all competitions.
The 2024/2025 season further cemented Union Berlin’s reputation as one of Germany’s most spirited and community-driven clubs, continuing their unique journey at the highest level of European football.
Union Berlin have recently made history by appointing Marie-Louise Eta as head coach of their men’s team, marking a groundbreaking moment in football. She became the first woman to manage in the Bundesliga, and the first in any of Europe’s top leagues. The appointment was a major milestone not just for the club, but for the sport as a whole, highlighting a shift toward greater inclusion and opportunity in men’s professional football.
