FC UTRECHT – HOME SHIRT 2014/2015

FC Utrecht is a professional football club based in Utrecht, the Netherlands. The club was founded in 1970 following the merger of several local teams. They play their home matches at the Stadion Galgenwaard, which has a capacity of 23,750, and are affectionately known as “Domstedelingen” (The Cathedral Citizens).

Utrecht compete in the Eredivisie, the top tier of Dutch football. They are one of only four clubs never to have never been relegated from the division - alongside Ajax, PSV, and Feyenoord - a record that cements their status as one of the country’s biggest and most established teams.

The club wore this smart home shirt during the 2014/2015 season, a campaign that was a disappointment, achieving just an 11th-place finish. Despite the struggles, future Frankfurt, West Ham, Ajax, and Dortmund striker Sébastien Haller shone as Utrecht’s top scorer, netting 11 league goals.

Fast forward a decade, and Haller has returned to FC Utrecht. On November 9th, 2025, he scored his first goal since rejoining the club - fittingly against Ajax - and it proved to be the winning strike.
