CLUB VILLA MITRE – HOME SHIRT 2013

Club Villa Mitre is a multi-sports club, best known for its football team and is based in Bahia Blanca, Argentina.

Bahia Blanca, translated as White Bay, is a coastal city bordering the Atlantic Ocean, south of the capital Buenos Aires.

The club is named after Bartolome Mitre, who was President of Argentina between 1862-1868.

Mitre currently play in Torneo Federal A, the third tier of professional football in Argentina. The team’s nicknames are Villeros or Tricolor and they play at El Fortin Stadium, which has a capacity of 5,000.

The club was founded in 1924 and has always played in 3-coloured kits (tricolor).  They were initially red, white and black but in recent years have switched to very attractive green, black and white stripes.

Villa Mitre wore this home shirt in the 2013 season.
