WAKEFIELD AFC– HOME SHIRT 2020/2021

Wakefield Association Football Club is an English club which competes in the Northern Counties East League Division One; step 6 in the English pyramid.

Wakefield is a cathedral city in West Yorkshire. It has a population of just under 100,000 and is the biggest city/town in England not to have a professional league club. The club was founded in 2019 by a group of local businessmen.

They originally played their matches in Barnsley but the owners were keen to play their home matches within the WF postcode and so moved to ground share with rugby league club Featherstone Rovers at the Millennium Stadium (7,000 capacity).

Wakefield wore this home shirt when competing in the Sheffield and Hallamshire County Senior Football League Premier Division in the 2020/2021 season.
