WALSALL – THIRD SHIRT 2023/2024

Walsall Football Club, established in 1888, is a professional football club based in Walsall, West Midlands, England. 

The club are nicknamed ‘The Saddlers’, a nod to the town's traditional saddle manufacturing industry and was formed through the merger of two local teams, Walsall Town and Walsall Swifts. This union led to the creation of Walsall Town Swifts FC, which eventually became Walsall FC.

Walsall plays its home matches at the Bescot Stadium, officially known for sponsorship reasons as the Poundland Bescot Stadium. Opened in 1990, the stadium has a capacity of approximately 11,300 spectators.

The Saddlers wore this green third shirt in the 2023/24 season, when competing in EFL League Two, marking their fifth consecutive season in the fourth tier of English football. Walsall finished the season in mid-table in 11th place. In the FA Cup, Walsall reached the 3rd Round before losing to Southampton.

The club’s home colours are red.
