GUADELOUPE 2024/2025 - WILD SHIRTS

If you’re active in the football shirt community on social media, you’ve probably seen collectors and enthusiasts taking their shirts out into the wild and photographing them, as a creative way to showcase their collection.

When the Guadeloupe National shirts arrived here at Surprise Shirts, we were instantly drawn to their nature inspired designs. In particular, the home and away variants, which feature ‘Cascade aux Ecrevisses’; a waterfall considered one of Guadeloupe’s most treasured sites of natural beauty. The waterfall adorns the body of the home and away shirts, whilst a map of the island is shown on the yellow third jersey.

A country made up of 6 inhabited islands, Guadeloupe is situated in the Caribbean, south of Antigua and Barbuda and north of Dominica. It’s known for its high quality rum, beautiful protected parks and stunning white-sand beaches. 

The Guadeloupe national team aren’t FIFA recognised, but regularly compete in competitions organised by the Caribbean Football Union and CONCACAF, including the CONCACAF Nations League. Les Gwada Boys’ side features players from the domestic league as well as players playing in various European divisions. 

With these beautiful shirts arriving into our warehouse and some incredible ‘wild shirt’ photography across our social media feed, we were pretty inspired to get in on the action and create some images of our own.

A timely message from talented photographer Amy Gifford created the perfect collaboration. We sent Amy the three Guadeloupe 2024/2025 shirts and tasked her with photographing them in out in the wild. The results, as you can see, are pretty spectacular…
