SURPRISE SHIRTS - CHRISTMAS DELIVERY UPDATE - ROYAL MAIL STRIKES
Firstly, we’d like to thank you all for amazing support around Black Friday & Cyber Monday & in the lead up to Christmas. Black Friday was our busiest day ever & it is difficult to put into words how much your support means to us!We are working incredibly hard to get on top of all orders & get them packed & shipped out as soon as possible. All Black Friday & Cyber Monday orders have been completed on our end.
However, due to our delivery partner, Royal Mail, continuing their targeted strikes, there is a backlog in the delivery system. Clearly this has an impact on the delivery times for your Surprise Shirts; we are doing everything in our power to minimise the impact of these strikes & to reduce delays.
We are continuing to evaluate alternative delivery options, but this is of great difficulty for us at such short notice. We are also conscious that other courier services & delivery methods come at an additional cost, and we do not want to pass this onto you, our incredibly loyal customers. Equally, any new integration with a different carrier will take time; we are looking to avoid delays as much as possible, of course! We will continue to evaluate the situation on a daily basis.
In light of this potential disruption, we encourage anyone wanting a Surprise Shirt, especially those who are purchasing as a Christmas gift, to order as soon as possible. This will allow us to guarantee that your shirt will arrive before Christmas.
The last thing we want is people to miss out on getting their Christmas presents! It means so much to us to see so many happy faces with new Christmas Surprise Shirts on social media.
We will continue to monitor the situation & will provide updates as regularly as possible. We will also provide Christmas ‘cut off’ dates, with as much advanced warning as possible.
Thank you for your continued support & patience. It means the world to our small family business.
Merry Christmas!
The Surprise Shirts Team
