BRAGA – HOME SHIRT 2023/2024

Sporting Clube de Braga is a Portuguese top-flight club based in the northern city of Braga. Nicknamed Os Arcebispos (“The Archbishops”), they play their home matches at the striking Estádio Municipal de Braga and are fully owned by their sócios (members).

The 2023/2024 season, in which this stylish home shirt was worn, marked Braga’s 32nd consecutive year in Portugal’s top division. Alongside the league campaign, they competed in the Taça de Portugal, Taça da Liga, and UEFA Europa League.

In the Primeira Liga, Braga finished a familiar 4th with 68 points, trailing Portugal’s “Big Three” - Porto, Sporting, and Benfica. Simon Banza starred as the club’s top scorer, netting an impressive 21 goals.

Braga’s Taça da Liga campaign was a triumph, ending a four-year trophy drought. On 27 January 2024, they beat Estoril Praia in the final, winning 5–4 on penalties after a 1–1 draw to lift the trophy. Their Taça de Portugal journey, however, ended in the fifth round.

In Europe, Braga began in the Champions League but failed to progress from the group stage, dropping into the Europa League, where they were eliminated by Qarabag in the knockout round play-offs.
