SC FORTUNA KOLN – CARNIVAL SHIRT 2024/2025

SC Fortuna Köln is a German club based in the city of Cologne.

Fortuna compete in the Regionalliga West which is the German’s fourth tier league,  which is regionalised.

For most of the club’s history they were a 2. Bundesliga club, albeit they did reach the Bundesliga once in the 1973/1974 season.

They are famous for reaching the final in the 1983 DFB-Pokal, a remarkable achievement for a lower level club. Unfortunately they lost to local rivals FC Köln.

The club wore this original shirt in the 2024/25 season when finishing 6th in the Regionliga West with Stipe Batarilo Cedric grabbing double digits in the league with 10. The carnival (karneval) shirt releases are a way to celebrate the local festival.
