GRASSHOPPERS ZURICH – HOME SHIRT 2019/2020

This home shirt was worn as Grasshoppers battled to return to the Swiss Super League. Sadly however the Zurich side just fell short, finishing 3rd behind Lausanne and FC Vaduz in the Swiss Challenge League and so missed out on promotion. 

The club is the oldest team in Zurich and maintains a strong rivalry with FC Zurich.

The origin of their name is unknown, although the most common explanation refers to its early players' post goal celebrations and that their style was nimble and energetic!
