FC Heidenheim 1846 is a German professional football club from the city of Heidenheim in Baden Wurttemberg.

The current club was founded in 2007 after the earlier merger of two local teams, TSB and VFL Heidenheim.

The origin of the club dates back to 1846 when a gymnastics club Turngemeinde Heidenheim was formed. Football has been played since 1911.

The team plays at the Voith Arena with capacity of 15,000 and are currently in Bundesliga, the top level of German football.

In the 2020/21 season Heidenheim finished 8th out of 18 teams in the league in 2. Bundesliga.
