UD LAS PALMAS – HOME SHIRT 2017/2018

Unión Deportiva Las Palmas are a Spanish professional football club based in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, in the Canary Islands. Founded in 1949 following the merger of five local clubs, Las Palmas were created to represent the island on the national stage and have since become one of Spain’s most distinctive sides.

The club has spent numerous seasons in La Liga, earning a reputation for technical, possession-based football influenced by the island’s culture and climate. Their best-ever league finish came in the late 1960s, when Las Palmas placed second in the Spanish top flight during the 1968/1969 season.

Nicknamed Los Amarillos (The Yellows), Las Palmas are instantly recognisable by their bright yellow home kit. This classy home shirt was worn during the 2017/2018 campaign as the club competed in La Liga. Unfortunately, the club failed to make an impact in the top flight and were relegated to the second division.
