LLANTWIT MAJOR – HOME SHIRT 2024/2026

Llantwit Major AFC are a Welsh semi-professional football club based in the town of the same name, in the Vale of Glamorgan. They currently compete in the JD Cymru South, the second tier of Welsh football. In the 2022/2023 season, their home ground was renamed Prince Moomin’s Palace, Frampton Lane, following an online sponsorship and naming rights competition.

Llantwit Major have become well known for producing kits that grab headlines. This traditional home strip, however, takes a more classic approach - though if you check out some of their other kits, you’ll see what we mean! Also, Llantwit have a unique link with Boca Juniors. In 2022, the club released a home kit that was a tribute to the Argentine giants, which was incredibly well received by Boca fans on social media. Nowadays, the club jokes that they probably have more fans in Argentina than they do in Wales!

There is something rather unique about this particular home kit; it has been worn by Llantwit across three consecutive seasons. Originally introduced as a special kit for home cup matches in 2023/2024, it became their full-time home kit in 2024/2025, and has been carried over once again for the 2025/2026 campaign.

In 2024/2025, they finished 9th out of 16 in the Cymru South, and fell at the second-round stage in both domestic cups. They did, however, improve slightly in European competition - advancing from the group stage of the FENIX Trophy before bowing out in the Round of 16 after an 8-2 defeat across two legs. Llantwit Major FC will be hoping that the 2025/2026 season brings better fortunes.
