Lyon, or OL for short, are one of France’s best supported clubs. They play at the Groupama Stadium, which holds 59,000 fans.

Les Gones (translated as The Kids in the local dialect), wore this attractive kit when Bruni Genesio guided the side to 3rd in Ligue 1, and the semi-finals of the Coupe de France where they were shocked by Rennes.

In the Champions League OL went unbeaten in the group stage, beating Manchester City in their opening fixture. However they crashed out at the Round of 16, losing 5-1 on aggregate to Barcelona.

Ex Celtic striker, Moussa Dembele, was the club’s top scorer with 20 goals in
all competitions.
