OLYMPIC DE MARSEILLE – AWAY SHIRT 2004/2005

Marseille is one of France’s heavyweight clubs based in the south of the country. They have spent most of their history in Ligue 1, with 11 French titles, ten Coupe de France wins and three Coupes de la Ligue. They were also the inaugural winners of the Champions League in 1993 (beating Milan 1-0).

They play their matches at the atmospheric Stade Velodrome.

The club wore this classic away shirt in the 2004/2005 season, as they finished 5th in Ligue 1. Ivorian striker Didier Drogba was sold to Chelsea before the season began, so Marseille faced a tough task in replacing his quality.
