MAURIKI FC - HOME SHIRT 2025/2026

Mauriki FC is a wonderful rising force in Vanuatuan football. The club was only founded in 2008 to represent Mele Village with their foremost focus on youth development. Mauriki wanted to become a uniting force in the region, and started to recruit young players from other villages and groups in the country. Their guiding message is "divided in bloodlines but united in football".

Mauriki started in the lower leagues. They had a brief stint in the top division in 2016 and 2017, but it was in the past 5 years that the club has established itself as a top 4 club in the country. This year they won the local cup, beating the most decorated club in recent years (Ifira Black Birds) in the final! The club are not looking to slow down, and their young core are looking to establish themselves as the biggest club in Vanuatu.

Designed by Sangalo, this home shirt prominently feature the traditional local kava plant with local patterns blending perfectly in the background. Mauriki means "warriors" in the local language, so the local pattern and stark color contrast are meant to emphasize this fighting spirit. On the back rests the club logo - "Respect all fear none".
