Melbourne City is a professional soccer club based in Melbourne, Australia.

The club was founded as recently as 2009 as Melbourne Heart and currently play in the A League, the top level of football in Australia.

Their ground is the 30,050 capacity AAMI Park.

Melbourne won the A League for the first time in 2020/21 season.

The club’s nicknames are City or Heart in respect of their former name.

The club wore this home shirt in 2014/2015 and the following 2015/2016 season when they finished 5th in the regular season, before losing in the final series semi-final in 2014/2015 season. The club then improved the following season to 4th in the league table but lost again at the penultimate stage, just missing out on the final.
