Napoli 2024/2025 Third Shirt

NAPOLI  - THIRD SHIRT 2024/2025

SSO Napoli (Societa Sportina Calcio) is a professional team based in Naples, in the south of Italy.   They are known as Gli Azzurri (The Blues) or The Parthenopeans (from Greek mythology).

The club was founded in 1926 and games are played at the Stadio San Paolo, capacity 54,726.

Their most famous player was the legendary Diego Maradona, who led them to their first Serie A (the top Italian League) titles in 1987 and 1990.

A strong rivalry exists between Napoli and Roma, also with Palermo.

Back in the 1920s they were unkindly known as The Donkeys because of poor performances but the club eventually adopted ‘O Ciuccio’ (the donkey) as their mascot! 

Napoli wore this special third shirt, that celebrates the city’s twinning status with Kagoshima in Japan, in the 2024/2025 season when the club won Serie A under the management of Antonio Conte.
