NETHERLANDS – HOME SHIRT WORLD CUP 2014

The Netherlands national football team are ranked 8th in the FIFA rankings. The Oranje are currently managed by Ronald Koeman.

The side have won the European Championship once, in 1988. Some of the world’s best footballers ever have worn the orange of the Netherlands national team, including Johan Cruyff, Ruud Gullit, Marco Van Basten and Robin Van Persie.

This stylish home shirt was worn by the Dutch at the Brazil World Cup in 2014 where Netherlands finished 3rd. They topped their group ahead of Chile, Spain and Australia (which included the headline 5-1 round one win against Spain!). They then defeated Mexico and Costa Rica on their way to the semi-final where they were beaten by Argentina on penalties. They then beat Brazil 3-0 in the 3/4th playoff match.
