NORWAY – HOME SHIRT 2020
The Norwegian national football team represents the country in international competitions.
Norway, also known as Løvene (The Lions), wore this home shirt during the 2020 international season, which included their UEFA Euro 2020 qualifying campaign and a series of friendlies. That year, the team finished their qualifying group in third place, narrowly missing out on a playoff spot and qualification for Euro 2020, but demonstrated the emergence of a talented generation led by the likes of Martin Ødegaard, with Erling Haaland amongst others making an impact later.
In the years since, Norway’s football fortunes have improved dramatically. They finished top of UEFA Group I in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, winning all eight matches - including 2 against Italy - and securing their place at the 2026 FIFA World Cup for the first time since 1998. Norway scored 37 goals and conceded just five across qualification, with Haaland netting 16 times, equalling the European qualifying scoring record.
As of early 2026, Norway are ranked 32nd amongst teams in the world and are considered one of Europe’s strongest sides, thanks to their blend of elite attackers and a deep squad built under head coach Ståle Solbakken.
Looking ahead to the 2026 World Cup - co-hosted by the United States, Mexico, and Canada - there are genuine hopes that this Norwegian team can make an impact on football’s biggest stage, potentially going beyond the group phase and announcing themselves as a serious dark‑horse contender.
